What is First Robotic Competition ?
We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind.
High-school student participants call it “the hardest fun you’ll ever have.”
Under strict rules, limited time and resources, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors.
It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get.
Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team.
Each season ends with an exciting FIRST Championship.

8220 Space Tigers FIRST Robotics team was established at September 2018 in Mersin Uğur Okulları.Inspired by the tiger, our school mascot,
Our team has made it a mission to find the skills that are interested in technology and inclined to this field, to bring it to a level that can compete with the world, and to be an exemplary team by producing quality works.
We have robotic teams at all levels from primary school to high school in our team.
Gender Equality is at the forefront of all our teams.
Our team has set it's motion to creat quality work, having interest and being skilled in technology, to be able to find it's qualities and to bring them into a state of world competitionAs a team we give importance to gender equality in every department.
